Attach private notes to any Gmail conversation. Your note appears above the subject line so you always see it when you open the email. Notes sync automatically between your computer and your phone.

How it works

• Open any email in Gmail and click the Sticky Notes icon to add a note.
• Your note is saved immediately to a private folder in your own Google Drive™ — a hidden space only this app can see.
• Open the same email on your phone and the note is already there.
• Install the Chrome™ extension on your computer and the Google Workspace® add-on on your phone to sync between both.

Why we request Google Drive access

Sticky Notes for Gmail asks for permission to access a private, app-only folder in your Google Drive (drive.appdata scope). This is the only way to save and sync your notes across your devices without using our own servers. We do not have servers. We never receive, see, or store your notes — they stay in your Google Drive, under your control, always.
